LOOKING BACK
I WISH I COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME
RETURN TO SENDER MY SORROW
LIVING OUT THE FUN TIMES OF MY LIFE
A PERFECT MERRIAGE, A LOVING FAMILY
A HOUSE FULL OF LOVE
BUT NOW THAT IS NOT THE LIFE I LIVE
I NEED ANSWERS FROM ABOVE
THINKING HARD WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE
MY HEART FILLED WITH LAUGHTGER AND JOY
WONDER IF I'M HAVE A GIRL OR BOY
UPON THE NEW ARRIVAL MY WORLD
WOULD BE SO COMPLETE
A LOVING HUSBAND A BUNDLE OF JOY
MAKING THINGS SO SWEET
YES THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS
IF I COULD JUST RETURN
APPARENTLY GOD HAS ANOTHER PLAN
THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAT I MUST LEARN

Gently poignant musing on reality and dreams, concluding excellently. Lovely use of end-rhyming, though if you wish to improve, making which lines (ie, every other or all) rhyme, as well as regulating the syllables and foot would also help...that is, if you wish to tweak or make it even better. As it stands it is a beautiful poetic tribute to reality, thought-provoking with great imagery. Welcome to P&P!
