Engine Issues

Finish before starting departing the core

Neither defeat nor denial can value civil war

The scent of salt water two miles from shore

Smells exactly the same as the last time before

Glimmers of sapphire soft spots by the eye

Have colors twist and insist to love their lie

False answers to nothing the truths a bit dry

Quiz, question and quarrel what moral proves why?

The car on foggy roads needs two hands to steer

Disaster rolls faster, slowly switch gear

Of all rides to attend the end approaches near

Faint of the taint this small fraction of fear

Ink black and paper white intertwine in a mix

Laugh at two pounds of gooey bright bricks

Similarities with time among tocks and tics

Strange thing about time how or why it should fix

Fascinating, it takes my imagination off into the countryside, careening along the road fringed by open fields and blue sky with dilemmas ruining the ride; dunno why it conjures that up, but interestingly it did. Loaded with awesome imagery, it seems almost a kaleidoscope of images intriguingly hinting at the main issue, which is internal trouble. I really like it. Flows nicely too. Sweet.

That's a very nice comment. It's about a mental episode. I know a bit about them so I thought I could describe what it's like without giving it away just like that in the poem. Glad you liked it. I always appreciate others opinions on poetry.

Excellent covert means of telling the tale of devilish misery as art knows so well how to do. Thanks for the hint. I like this piece. Interesting it created the images I expressed, eh?
