Worth Dying For

Alexandre Landsley

Awaken with my scramble thoughts

Sleepless night, my head fill with emotions that paralyze

Insufficient words unable to characterize

This feeling, love must be in the air

So why exhale, when I can just inhale

And why fail now, when deep down all I feel like doing is excel

An unwritten fairy tale, where cupid isn’t the reason

Me, falling for you, there are about a billion reasons

In your hands my heart is like on a pedestal

But if it should grow wings, please don’t let it go

Put reality on hold, for just a minute, a second maybe less

So I’ve been told, to dream of the impossible is quite the foolishness

They have diamonds, they have gold

Quite the exact amount feels the emptiness, where there should be happiness

But luckily I have you, and to tell you the truth

That’s the kind of love worth dying for.
