Days End

dbremner

Shades of orange touch the clouds

The wind rises

And darkness falls

Days end early in the North

A shower of small rain

Fills the night air

As the waves pound

Restlessly on the shore

Still the fire burns

Brightly in the grate

And turning in for the night

I think of you.

Ah, delightfully romantic! She is lucky, precious girl. How very sweet a tribute to romance, from the romance of nature's beautiful Au Revoir to that tender feeling between a man and woman. Wonderful and lovely. Excellent imagery. The fire of love brightens the darkness so deliciously.
