Heart Mind Me

Fran

My mind controls my heart

 

My heart deceives my mind

 

And I am stuck in between

 

What is reason,

What is emotion

Is there something like emotional reasoning,

Or a reasonable emotion

And am I supposed to know the difference

 

If I follow my heart, do I betray my mind

If I put my mind in charge, will my heart slowly dissolve

Do I have a choice,

Or is the assumption I have one merely an illusion?
