rain walk

Marius

rain walk
-by mvb

i’m walking barefoot in the rain
leaving deformed footsteps
on the wet ground
steps from the past
filled by the cloudy water
of lost friendships

a blossomed tree
offers me cover
under its corolla
filled with tears from heaven

i reject it
against my wish
but I have no more room inside me
for others’ tears, too
i am only seeking peace

Fascinating metaphorical representation. Excellent! A tad intriguing, but delightfully expressed, bitterly beautiful. I like it.
