Cherry and Valentine

Hidan

The cherries are blooming,

What use of cherry?

My life is gloomy,

my world is scary.

Valentine day is near,

chocolates are sold.

But she is not here,

my world is cold.

There is a cherry, yet no one to give.

There is a valentine, yet, not love to live.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this in December 2010, with grief. But unexpected things occur, and I'm going to give her a valentine present. I'll buy one tomorrow, and propose her. If the love god bless me, then I might win her love.

Well-written, bittersweet and simplistic yet with such feeling....I am glad for your author's note and hope it goes well for you and that she will love you too...
