Ahead On Our Way

Poetinthebackroom

The light blue lamp that lights my way

The box art temple painting that averts my fears

The awe struck bonsai tree, containing my dreams, passions and desires

The fallen pillow of solitude protecting my mind from doubt

The sacred left side of my magnificent melancholy alerts me to my own presence

I am here, alive and enthralled with exuberance

Where have I been and where will I go?

The milkshake glass standing tall

The after-taste of the lemon juice enthrals me

What nature does this emotion contain?

What more could it do?

Or be

Or not

Find beauty everywhere, please I implore you

You will not regret my thoughts

As I do not regret you and yours

Farewell angel of mine

I go on now, with you, as always, in my heart.
