july 11As always on Tuesdays, here”s three more markets for your poetic goodness, culled from the pages and pages and pages of poetry journals, magazines, websites and the like. The main criteria for me to include a publication in the Tuesday Markets is that they be currently accepting poetry submissions – far too many no longer accept over the transom submissions of poetry because they are overwhelmed. The secondary criteria is that they pay for poetry – but that”s not a hard and fast rule. I may include a publication that pays only in copies, or one that doesn”t state it”s paying policy on occasion. With all that out of the way – on to the markets.

Ducky is a literary magazine publishing contemporary English-language poetry, fiction, interviews, criticism, and ephemera. The magazine is published biannually on the World Wide Web and annually in print. The editors have chosen to publish Ducky on the World Wide Web because, simply put, the Web offers their writers the largest possible audience for their work. Ducky accepts submissions of poetry, fiction and essays by electronic submission only, and have a very particular style of submission. The editors unapologetically state that if you fail to follow the specifics of their submission process, your work will not be considered. You can find out more about submitting your work to Ducky on their submissions page
