Funny Poems

Felice

(by Nicholas Gordon)

Felice, of course, is very, very happy.
Each night is but a harbinger of day.
Life's pain must disappear, upon reflection,
In the transcendental glory of perception,
Casting doubt on all that stoics say.
Evenings, though, she can get very snappy.
